The First Aid Training Company delivers the professional and contemporary training services you require.

Our first aid courses are VETAB Accredited and provide Nationally Recognised Qualifications from the National Health Training Package HLT07 along with various other approvals including:

  • WorkCover NSW (approval FA 9654 and OFA 00114)
  • SafeWork South Australia
  • Victorian Police Licensing Services Division - PRSSO206A - Provide First Aid - Security Industry

Our courses are available on the internet where you can now complete course components in your own time according to work commitments. Whilst the need for face to face practical supervision is not eliminated, it allows greater flexibility for people to learn and study according to their needs. This flexible delivery replaces the typical two days by around six hours of comprehensive practical training plus testing. Workbooks are also available for pre-study.

FACT SHEET: When to go to hospital

You need to go to a hospital emergency room if you have:

  • sudden or unexplained loss of consciousness.
  • chest pain, numbness in the face, arm or leg and if you have difficulty speaking.
  • severe shortness of breath.
  • high fever accompanied by a stiff neck, mental confusion or difficulty breathing.
  • coughing up or vomiting blood.
  • a cut or wound that won't stop bleeding.
