You will be required to complete some pre course theory prior to attending your face to face session, which you can do with either a workbook and manual that we post out or over the internet, through our website.

Information on how to access your pre course theory is on your confirmation email, if you have misplaced or did not receive this email please contact the office and we will resend this for you.

The preferred method of completing your pre coruse work online however if you require a workbook and manual please call (02) 49 608 608and let us know.

You will need to answer all the multiple choice questions prior to attending just 7 hours of face to face training, plus breaks.

Courses are held in our head office in Mayfield West, NSW.

We hold regular training to which dates can be viewed on our course calendar. Please select the Course calendar tab on the home page.

Alternatively if you are situated outside of the Newcastle area we can refer you to the nearest instructor.

Yes!

We are a recognised Registered Training Organisation and our RTO number is 91232. Our courses are Nationally Recognised and Accredited by ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority).

If you have completed your theory and are deemed competent, you can generally expect to receive your certificate within 7 days of completing your course.

This depending on the size and nature of your business. The First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice outlines the number of people you need trained as well as first aid facilities and kits.

The USI is a reference number made up of ten numbers and letters that:

  • creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, from all training providers you undertake recognised training with
  • will give you access to your training records and transcripts
  • can be accessed online, anytime and anywhere
  • is free and easy to create and
  • stays with you for life

If you are a new or continuing student undertaking nationally recognised training, you need a USI in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment.

Your USI will give you access to an online record of the training you have done since 1 January 2015. You will also be able to produce a comprehensive transcript of your training. This can be used when applying for a job, seeking a credit transfer or demonstrating pre-requisites when undertaking further training.
