The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that your Provide CPR (HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation) course be renewed annually.

This is the same for the following units of competency

HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy

PUAEME008 Provide pain management

Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) training is recommended that it be renewed every 3 years with the CPR element within in the session be done annually.

The following units also have a 3 yearly recommended renewal

  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
  • HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in remote or isolated site
  • HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid
  • HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and resources
  • HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill set
  • NAT11270001 Provide first aid to a person with a disability (Disability first aid)

Onsite bookings can be requested via the website (Click here) or by calling us in the office.

The Mayfield West bowling club which we use for our training do offer our clients tea, coffee and water as part of the service they provide which is available throughout the day.

We do not provide lunch for any training.

Full day courses include a lunch break and we suggest you bring your lunch. You are always welcome to use the fridge and microwave facilities for the storing and heating of food.

The First Aid Training company can provide training to clients on a weekend when requested. The office is open Monday- Friday from 8:00am to approximately 4:00pm.

Please note that sometimes we are offsite conducting audits on kits so their may be times where the office is unattended for a small period of time.

 

At E Firstaid, we’re committed to helping every participant succeed. While we can’t guarantee that all learners will pass, our trainers will do everything possible to support you throughout your training journey.

You’ll have multiple opportunities to complete your written assessment, and our trainers will provide guidance and feedback during practical sessions to help you improve where needed.

If you’re not yet successful, you’ll be invited to return for additional support and training to give you the best opportunity to achieve competency.

Yes — all of our courses are nationally accredited and fully comply with current national standards. We deliver up-to-date, high-quality training that reflects the latest industry requirements.

A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a government-issued reference number that gives you access to your record of nationally recognised training in Australia.

All participants undertaking nationally recognised, accredited training are required to have a USI before their course can be completed. When you contact us to make a booking, our team will ask for your USI details.

If you don’t yet have one, you can easily create your USI online at www.usi.gov.au

The easiest way to create a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is by visiting www.usi.gov.au and selecting “Create my USI” under the Student section.

If you’re unsure whether you already have a USI, you can also visit the same website and select “Find my USI” or “Not sure if I have a USI?” under the Student options.

If you experience any issues or need assistance, our team will be happy to help you over the phone or in person when you attend your training.

Yes! We can come to your workplace to deliver training, depending on the number of participants and the suitability of your space. Give us a call at the office, and we’ll help organise a session that works for your team.

No, unfortunately E Firstaid Pty Ltd do not complete one-on-one training courses. If you have any concerns with group work, please give the office a call and have a chat to one of our team members.

Public course sizes are capped at 20 participants

For all accredited training with E Firstaid Pty Ltd, students must be 14 years of age with written parent or guardian consent. Students under the age of 14 may complete non-accredited training with a parent or guardian present at the time of training and for the duration of the non-accredited course.

Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities available to allow you to bring children to training. This includes babies in strollers. Please read the age requirements for children to complete training.

If you are a breast-feeding mum, we are happy to provide an area for you to feed if the baby can be brought in to you during the breaks. Please let the trainer know if this is the case.

Please see the physical requirements of training course you have selected. If you feel you have any concerns about this, please consult your doctor before making a booking. If we can assist with any further support, please let the office know prior to attending training.

No. Course fees must be paid in full within 24 hours of completing a booking.

E Firstaid Pty Ltd does not allow students to pay cash on the day of training.

Our trainers do not have the ability to take any form of payment on the day.

Students who provide notice as per the breakdown in the Cancellation and Refund Policy will be issued a refund.

For reschedules that are

  • More than 48 hours before the course start time = Free reschedule
  • Less than 48 hours before the course start time = $25 rescheduling fee

Yes. E Firstaid Pty Ltd training courses include both practical and written assessments.

Written assessment includes a multiple-choice exam and

Practical observations will be conducted throughout the day and marked off by your assessor.

If you have any literacy, reading, or language concerns please book over the phone and discuss these with the admin team.

We would love to have you attend a training course with us.

Please complete your booking over the phone to discuss your specific disability with the team and inform us of any additional assistance you will require.

There are elements within the training courses that we are unable to make adjustments to, such as 2 minutes of Adult CPR on the floor. Whilst we will do everything in our power to assist you, if these elements are unable to be completed other certification may be issued, e.g. Record of attendance in relevant course.

Students are required to complete 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR Practical on a manikin during training. This must be completed at floor level and students will need to demonstrate correct technique as taught by a trainer.

 

This is a requirement of the training package and we are unable to make adjustments to this component of the training.

To provide you with the most realistic training possible we require all participants to complete their training at floor level, as per the physical requirements above.

All of our training team have industry experience, ranging from Paramedics, ERT rescue team members to Surf Life savers. Trainers have many years of practical experience in the relevant fields and apply this experience and knowledge to your training course.

Yes, we welcome you to attend our training for your own knowledge.

If you are unable to complete the physical requirements of the training or prefer not to take part in assessment, please let the office know at the time of booking.

We would be happy to award you a Record of attendance rather than a Statement of Attainment.

A registered training organisation, in Australia, is an organisation providing Vocational Education and Training to students, resulting in qualifications or statements of attainment that are recognised and accepted by industry and other educational institutions throughout Australia.

No, Whilst our trainers are very knowledgable in their field, our administration staff look after the supply and quoting of our first aid products and kits.
